Reviews and Awards

Every time a new book comes out there is a nervousness that every author goes through. We worry if readers and reviewers are going to like it or if they will not like it and tell everyone they know how much they don’t.

So when that first reader feedback comes in or those few precious reviews come back and you find out that they didn’t hate it and sometimes they even really liked it a lot. For me that is a huge sigh of relief. Sometimes I cry because it’s so touching that yes I did what I set out to do. Entertain someone with a story that I wrote, edited, and promoted. It’s a long process that I am grateful that I am able to do. But it’s that reader feedback or review that will always serve as my reminder of why it is that I continue to do this on those days when I wonder.

What got me started down this road was a new review I received from Paranormal Romance Reviews for Pentacles of Magick: The Bonding, the first in my Pentacles of Magick series.
