I arrived yesterday in Columbus, Ohio around 10:00 am and the day proceeded into a wild whirlwind of activity which mainly consisted of catching up with old friends and a couple of publisher spotlight panels.

I’ve already collected more free books and goodies than I could hope to fit in my suitcase, so there will be lots of goodies to give away. (just as soon as I figure out how to get them all home. lol)

As usual the EC Paint the Town Red party was a lot of fun with half naked men and goodies galore. Including Kiss and Tell’s Mari Freeman being caught up in the antics of the naughty cavemen.

There are so many authors here it will probably take the whole week to see some of them. But here’s a few pics so far to see a little of what went on the first night.

Every year when I return from the Romantic Times convention I always hold contests to give away many of the goodies I have received. This year I’ve decided to get a little head start and hold an interactive contest while I’m away.

I will be arriving at RT midday on Wed. April 28th and will have my camera in hand. I will be on the look out for yours and mine favorite authors and snapping pictures left and right (there will be even more on my twitter and facebook so you might want to look there too)

Every night or AM I will post new pictures (and any other random time I find myself with a few minutes) so you folks at home can be right in the action. Enabling you to see and comment on the conference. Then when I get home I will put together some really fantastic prize packages (including books) from the goodies I receive and award them to some random commentors on the picture blogs. Easy Peasy.

Now of course this contest depends on silly me remembering the camera and camera cord which I have a bad habit of forgetting. I’ll have my cell camera but it kinda sucks so send me some good memory mojo as I run around tonight packing my bags at the last minute.
