A Vampire Tribute for Halloween

Can’t let Halloween pass me by without mentioning Eric at least one more time. Right? lol

Actually we love a lot of the undead and it’s been discussed a lot on The DAMM Blog this month. I hope you didn’t miss it, but there are still a few more days of fun planned.

I’ve hung my new Eric poster, compliments of author Dahlia Rose, in my office, so I have wonderful eye candy to motivate me when I’m working or writing. :)

But I couldn’t resist sharing the love through a few videos. As much as I love Eric, I’ve been a fickle girl and loved many vampires in recent history.

Enjoy!

And what will probably always be my favorite vampire line EVER!

“I may be love’s bitch, but at least I’m man enough to admit it.”

Thirty days – nothing but naughty excerpts for you to enjoy from 20+ authors. Make this November your steamiest ever!

My Kinda Wolf

With the new release of Black Moon Rising yesterday, I definitely have wolves on the brain. I’ve got the makings of the next story already in my head. My problem is that after season 3 of True Blood, I’m not sure i can ever see a wolf hero as anyone other than Joe. That would be as in Joe Manganiello who plays Alcide on True Blood. He’s just so…Tall, and those eyes, and that hair, and those abs, and he’s just so TALL…

It’s nice to remember there are real men out there that look like the paranormal heroes we love to write about. And an alpha male wolf shifter should definitely look like this:

BLACK MOON RISING is NOW AVAILABLE from LOOSE ID!

It’s now available on the Loose ID website

One man claims her by blood, the other by possession. One wants revenge.

At the rise of the Black Moon, Sierra is to be named the new Alpha of her pack. But first, she must take a wolf mate before she can claim the position. Problem is, she’s in love with two men, one of whom is strictly forbidden. Willing to live a lie, she publicly acknowledges one and keeps the other her dirty little secret.

Nolan and Marek understand Sierra’s needs. Nothing gives them more pleasure than to make her burn, body and soul. Until the pack is attacked and a temperamental stranger from the past threatens to send them spiraling apart. Now she must choose between love and duty, a decision with fatal consequences. Whoever said you could be Alpha without making the hard choices…lied.

Talking About BDSM & Books

I attend several conventions a year and one of my favorite things to do is sit on panels. Not only do I get to talk a little bit about genres and books I love, but I get to interact with readers who generously show up and ask their questions and/or lend their support.

At the Authors After Dark convention in September I enjoyed participating in several including the cats vs. dogs shifter panel, a panel about working author promotion and a BDSM panel. All were very well attended and lots of fun but since we are lucky to have some video clips from one of them I though I would highlight the BDSM panel.

I was lucky to be included on a panel with amazing authors Dr. Charley Ferrer, Joey W. Hill, Tilly Green, Madeline Oh and Bridget Midway.

The room was packed with readers and authors with a lot of interaction between the audience and the panel members. Simply, it was a lot of fun. BDSM romance is one of my favorite genres to both read and write and it’s educational to listen to others talk about their likes and dislikes in the genre. If there is one thing I’ve learned a long time ago is that BDSM is not a one type fits all kind of practice. I’m always learning more and savor the moments when I get to sit down with people and discuss this.
