Hoppy April

Now you might think I am wishing you a Hoppy April because this Sunday is Easter but that isn’t exactly my intent. Although I do hope everyone has a great Easter weekend.

No this is Hoppy April because I went a little overboard on the blog hops this month. I think these blog hops are a lot of fun and I try to sign up for one a month. (I like to keep things simple) But this month there were too many good ones to pass up and before I knew it I’d signed up for three!

Oops.

Oh well, we’ll all have fun and there will be so many prizes up for grabs you’ll hopefully forgive me for going overboard. *grins*

The first one will be this week, April 5th – 6th. Come hop the blogs and celebrate Carrie Ann Ryan’s birthday while you get a chance at all the prizes.

The second will be April 16th – 22nd. This is the Hunky Hero Giveaway Hop hosted by Riverina Romantics. Need I say more as to why I signed up for this one?

The Third blog hop is hosted by my friend, author Selena Blake. Selena’s Spring Fling Blog hop will take place April 23-27th and is co hosted with Paranormal Romance and Reading Between the Wines.

See you at the hops!

Have You Been Naughty?

It’s that time again. The holiday season is at its peak and everyone is rushing to finish their christmas shopping, tree trimming, and holiday baking.

Of course in addition to all the holiday hoopla, I’m still writing and promoting books. So this Christmas it’s going to be all about me.

HAHA. Did I get ya? I was kidding. Sorta.

After wrapping up two big back to back promotions on the DAMM blog and here in Naughty November, I wanted to do something for the holidays. But the thought of organizing another event with guests and mega giveaways was a bit daunting, so instead I’ve decided you’ll get me and we can chat, have cocoa together, talk about our favorite books of the year, ogle half naked mens and generally discuss any ole holiday thing we wish.

Of course, I just had a nice naughty book release last week and I’m writing two new naughty books right now… So the question I have on my mind is:

Have you been naughty?

Lord, let’s hope so. :)

As I sit here writing this post and glancing around my office at some of the things I’ve bought this year (in the name of research, of course ;) ), I think I can indeed say I’ve been naughty. From the fuzzy red handcuffs to the suede flogger to the brand spanking new leather rose crop… Not to mention the Betty Page necklaces I’ve made and worn, or those fun dirty word necklaces I handed out at conferences, that may or may not have encouraged some readers to the dark side. hehehe Yeah, naughty naughty naughty.

So I think all that’s left to do now is write my letter to Santa to explain.

Dear Santa,

Let me explain. I know every year you ask if we’ve been naughty or nice and this year I’ve been determined to interpret that to mean naughty is good and nice is only so so.

So if naughty is good, then I’ve excelled in my goals. I’ve written hundreds of thousands of words this year in books all with lots of dirty, delicious words. If you haven’t seen them yet, I’d be happy to send you a few autographed copies. ;) Since dreams are your thing, might I suggest a paperback copy of Fetish Dreams for that cold winter night? There’s rope and floggers to liven up your sexy time and even a little fire to light up your life.

Since you already know if we’ve been bad or good, I don’t need to tell you every detail of what I’ve seen or done. But there have been a few things this year I unfortunately saw that I’d love to have scrubbed from my mind if it’s no trouble at all.

This year I’ve indulged in vampires and shifters galore, not to mention the Doms that made me swoon to the floor. If you’d be so kind as to leave me Alcide or Eric in my stocking this year, I would promise to be even naughtier next time.

As for those stickers I give to one and all… I have no excuse since I love them to death. I’ll shout “Embrace Your Inner Bad Girl” from the rooftops if I must. Whatever it takes to get the word out. Erotic Romance is my favorite genre to read and to write no matter what anyone else tells you is wrong or right.

So this Christmas, I don’t ask for much. Only more books to store on my iPad to read every moment I can, along with great music that inspires my fingers to dance so that more stories will flow than ever before.

Merry Christmas,

Eliza

P.S. I was serious about the Alcide and Eric request.
