Spring Fling Blog Hop

Spring Fling Blog Hop

First, I’d like to thank Selena Blake, Bitten by Paranormal Romance Reviews, and Reading Between the Wines for hosting this awesome blog hop. (see below for the not-to-be-missed prizes)

Spring has definitely sprung all across the country. Many of us can attest to that through our fight with the annual pollen that drives our allergies crazy. Despite that, I love spring. It’s a clear sign of fresh and new that can be carried over into many aspects of our lives. For me this Spring has brought about the beginning of a very big change. I’m moving from North Carolina to Washington state and I’ve been going back and forth quite a bit as I find a house, help my daughter get settled into her new school, and begin the arduous process of packing up the house I have lived in for thirteen years.

It seems odd to be leaving my beloved South after so many years, but I’ve always enjoyed change and I always look forward to a new adventure. Often times my adventures take place between the pages of a book I’ve written or read but sometimes it’s necessary for me to experience adventure in my real life. It’s those times I’ve been known to make radical changes.

Join the military, travel out of the country, rock climb national parks, go white water rafting, ride in race cars, leave a safe corporate america job for self employment… You get the idea. :)

With so many possibilities in the air during Spring, I hope you’ll find your perfect adventure whether it be between the pages of the books you’ll be introduced to during this event or right in your own backyard.

Now let’s get to the prizes:

Hoppy April

Now you might think I am wishing you a Hoppy April because this Sunday is Easter but that isn’t exactly my intent. Although I do hope everyone has a great Easter weekend.

No this is Hoppy April because I went a little overboard on the blog hops this month. I think these blog hops are a lot of fun and I try to sign up for one a month. (I like to keep things simple) But this month there were too many good ones to pass up and before I knew it I’d signed up for three!

Oops.

Oh well, we’ll all have fun and there will be so many prizes up for grabs you’ll hopefully forgive me for going overboard. *grins*

The first one will be this week, April 5th – 6th. Come hop the blogs and celebrate Carrie Ann Ryan’s birthday while you get a chance at all the prizes.

The second will be April 16th – 22nd. This is the Hunky Hero Giveaway Hop hosted by Riverina Romantics. Need I say more as to why I signed up for this one?

The Third blog hop is hosted by my friend, author Selena Blake. Selena’s Spring Fling Blog hop will take place April 23-27th and is co hosted with Paranormal Romance and Reading Between the Wines.

See you at the hops!

Have A Very Shapeshifter Christmas

We’re only two days away from Christmas. Hard to believe isn’t it? Today I am wrapping presents, visiting with friends and doing the best I can to ignore the abscessed tooth I cannot get fixed until the Endodontist returns from his Christmas vacation on Wednesday. Smile

I hope you all are ready and excited for Christmas. If you happen to be looking for a couple of quick and free reads to get you in the holiday mood, shifter style, I thought I’d mention a couple from author Selena Blake and yours truly.

I recently updated A White Cougar Christmas, giving Niki and Dean’s early story a bit more oomph. I uploaded the updated version last week so if you haven’t had a chance to grab it before now, here’s your chance. It’s available free here on my website under the free reads heading in PDF or at Smashwords and ARe in multiple formats. For the kindle lovers out there who don’t want to sideload from Smashwords or ARe it is available at Amazon, however, they have not yet price matched the free price and I’m forced to charge 99 cents. It’s also available at the iBookstore and is currently #2 on the Romance Top Free chart there.

Book Summary:

“Cute story. Perfect for a lunch hour!”

Restless and alone on Christmas Eve, Niki decides it’s time to scratch the itch and heads into a nearby town for some action. Once there, it isn’t sex she finds, but a fight instead, that is until tall, dark and handsome intervenes…

Dean recognizes the stunning but surly Cougar for what she is the minute she gets close. Now it’s up to him to show her just how far a night of passion can go.

And from Selena’s wildly popular cajun Stormy Weather series, she has offered up a wonderful Christmas tale sure to warm your heart and make you dream of a shifter all your own. Her story is available free on her website or at Smashwords and ARe in multiple formats.

Book Summary:

This is it! The answer to your Stormy Weather questions. This isn’t a traditional romance by any stretch, it’s a glimpse of happily ever after or how the Cajun werewolves spend their first Christmas as a pack.

A Cajun Werewolf Christmas
(The Happily Ever After)
paranormal romance – the final Stormy Weather story

Join Deveraux Pack for their first Christmas together. With Angel and Jules’ wedding days away, the pack braces the snow and cold for an unforgettable day. The men place a bet to see who can come up with the best baby present. And Mother Nature provides one last surprise for everyone.

Enjoy the reads and have a great Christmas Eve Eve.
